Pesta Teluk Ambon is planned to be held on 6 to 10 September 2016. Rows of
events from cultural performances to the race prepared to entertain tourists.
Ambon want to show our cultural and natural potential to the world, so Maluku
also soon be included in the priority destinations of international tourism.This
must have been lively and has become an annual event Maluku province. This
year, the theme is ambon 'Alam Beta Indah'. The theme chosen by the
local government to be able to complete branding Maluku Tourism as well as Indonesian tourism, called Wonderful
Indonesia.
Pesta Teluk Ambon is the largest national event organized by the Provincial
Government together with the Ministry of Tourism. This event provides an
overview of the beauty of the Bay of Ambon by showing the potential for marine
tourism and culture.There are many events held on the Feast of Ambon Bay among
various competitions include traditional boat races or Manggurebe arumbae, boat
landlord (outrigger), fishing, painting, storytelling tales of ancestral land
Ambon, photography underwater park, creating mosaics, beach volleyball ,
festival specialties Maluku, competition Arumbai Manggurebe, Semang race male,
race Semang Women, Traditional Fishing competition, and a photo contest.
The closing ceremony took place on September 10 at JMP Tantui, preceded by
the traditional activities of the host female and male host lacquers, as well
as the attractions of traditional fishing, the clearance of coral reefs in the
