As in previous years , Mesastila Resort & Spa will
hold a race with the name Mesastila Peaks Challenge 2016 (MPC 2016) for the
sixth time on October 8 to 9. MPC 2016 is unique as an extreme race that aims
to review hearts ignited the power of the Self , Physical Condition , and also will
give a chance to get experience , as well as explore the natural beauty of
Central Java.
After a successful five years in a row with a trail
running race for categories 13k , 21K , 42k , 65k and 100k , this year
MesaStila Challenge & Ultra renamed MesaStila Peaks Challenge with five
categories: 11k , 21K , 42k , 65k , 100k. This year is certainly there is more challenging
obstacles presented. Runners experience will be offered through the interior
villages, rice fields , crossing and up to five mountains in Central Java with
a height of up to 7758 m above sea level . They are also going through coffee
plantations and finish in MesaStila Resort and Spa.
MPC was
affiliated with Asian Trail Master ( ATM ) Indonesia 's SuperTrail , where the
competitor in Indonesia who finished the race win extra points for
participating ATM championship . Other race in Indonesia this year included the
Rinjani 100 ATMs , among others , Bromo Tengger Semeru ( BTS ) and Ijen Ultra
Trail running .
Implementation
of MPC in 2016 , among others, to promote sports tourism in Central Java , of
course, thanks to the support of the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of
Indonesia for a few years back . This event is also a major step to incorporate
MPC into qualifying Ultra Trail Du Mont Blanc in the world sports map
International , as well as introduce MesaStila as a destination and a place for
ultra training camp
